The lost gold.

In the 16th century, Spanish explorers sailed to South America. They listened to stories about El Dorado. El Dorado was an Indian king. He lived in Colombia.

Every year the Indians had a festival. They covered El Dorado in gold dust. He sailed to the middle of a lake and dropped lots of gold treasure into the water.

The Spanish explorers looked for El Dorado's gold. It was impossible to find.

Atlantis was a city. People there had everything but they were greedier and greedier. Then the god Poseidon created a wave  and collapsed The Atlantis under the sea. 
This legend is very sad, but we know  that we can not be greedy.
