"Children in Victorian Britain" by Rahela

Hi, what's up?
Now, I want to talk about Children in Victorian Britain.
In that time, the poor children suffer a lot and the rich children has got  no problems. For example , the life of Thomas and Mary. Thomas lived in England in 1859. He lived with his mother, father, and six brothers and sisters. His family was very poor. They lived in one room with no bath. Thomas didn't go to school and he didn't learn to read and write. He worked in a factory for ten hours a day. He was often very tired.
Thomas had very little free time but sometimes he played with his friend. He had old clothes and he was often cold. Mary also lived in England in 1859. Her family was rich and they lived in a big house.
Marry didn't work and she didn't help at home. Servants cleaned the house and cooked the food. She learned to read and write, but not at school. Teacher lived in her house. She played at home with her brothers and sisters their favourite toys were a doll's house, a toy train, and a rocking horse.
And this is a big lesson, for know that you have to appreciate what you have.

"El Dorado: Fact or fiction" By Soraya

Hello! How are you?
Today I'll tell you about the legend of El Dorado.
El Dorado
The lost gold.
In the 16th century, Spanish explorers sailed to South America. They listened to stories about El Dorado. El Dorado was an Indian king. He lived in Colombia.
Every year the Indians had a festival. They covered El Dorado in gold dust. He sailed to the middle of a lake and dropped lots of gold treasure into the water.
The Spanish explorers looked for El Dorado's gold. It was impossible to find.

And what do you think? Fact or fiction?

" Atlantis: Fact or fiction" By Soraya

Hello!
I'll talk about the legend of Atlantis.
Atlantis
The island Under the Sea.
Atlantis was an island in the Atlantic Ocean. The king was Poseidon. He was the Greek god of the sea. He had ten sons. Poseidon and his sons lived in a beautiful temple on the island.

The island was full of different animals and different types of food. For many years the people lived simple lives and were very happy.

Then they wanted to be rich. They were greedy. Zeus, the king of the gods, was angry. He made a wave. The island disappeared under the sea.

And, what do you think?

Fact or fiction?
